In June, 2016 – on the occasion of Guyana’s 50th Independence Anniversary, we had a chance to visit with the folk in Pakuri, as well as provide funding for the first of – we hope – many under-serviced communities in rural Guyana.  Thanks to the Guyana Book Foundation for their help in procuring close to a thousand dollars in books for this community.
